A popular style of hair that hair appeared recently combines the shades of 2 hair colors which are then blended into each other to create a gradient effect, this is called ombre hair!
People with all shades of hair color are trying this out and while some color combos obviously work better than others, it’s really interesting to see someone that has decided to try something new with their hair and experiment.
Red heads have embraced this trend too, sometimes using a combination of 2 shades of red, black and red or blonde and red.
Red ombre hair is becoming really popular, mainly because it gives fans of red hair the opportunity to have multiple shades of red in their hair. This could only be done before with highlights or extensions, the ombre effect gives the hair more depth making it really eye catching and exciting to look at.
Ombre Hair Color
The gradient effect can be used from top to bottom or from bottom to top, meaning if you had blonde hair you could stay blonde at the top and have the ends of your hair dyed a strawberry red color or if you had red hair you could keep the top of your hair red and dye the bottom blonde, it works really well both ways!
Having red ombre hair can make a real difference to your appearance. Even though the change is only subtle the effect it can have is quite surprising, by having a lighter shade on the lower half of your hair, more attention is given to your face due to the contrast between the hair color at the top and your skin / makeup color. Generally, having lighter hair on the lower half works better than having lighter hair at the top when going for an ombre style.
